Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Learnyaa Quick Bytes app or this website. Learnyaa is run by Vignesh Moorthy, an individual developer based in Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"). By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. What Learnyaa is

Learnyaa Quick Bytes is a revision tool. It gives short cards ("bytes") to help you recall what you have already studied. It does not replace textbooks, coaching or your own preparation.

Learnyaa is an independent product. It is not connected with, or approved by, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), any other exam body or any government body.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use the app.

3. The app is in beta

The app is still being built. Features and content may change, and the app may sometimes be unavailable. Your progress is backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be lost.

4. Accuracy of content

We check every byte against its source and show that source on the card. Even so, mistakes can happen, and laws and facts change over time. Please check important facts against the original source. If you find a mistake, use the Report link on the byte so we can fix it.

We do not promise any exam result, rank or selection.

5. Accounts

You can use the app without an account. If you sign in with Google, keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity under your sign-in.

6. Free use and Premium

The app is free during the beta. We plan to offer a paid Premium plan later. Before it starts, the app will show the price and what is included. Payments will be handled by Google Play, under Google Play's own terms and refund rules.

7. Fair use

You agree not to:

We may limit or stop access for anyone who breaks these terms.

8. Ownership

The Learnyaa name, the peacock logo, the app and the bytes belong to us. You may use them for your own personal revision only. Texts of the Constitution, laws and other public documents quoted in bytes belong to their own owners or are public.

9. Limits of our responsibility

The app and the website are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using them or from relying on their content, including exam results or lost progress.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how to delete it.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data.
